Airside Sync from Safe Sky Industries is a digital platform for airports to assess, report and analyze numerous different conditions at the aerodrome which gives the airside operations team unparalleled benefits compared to analog reporting with pen and paper or radio transmission.
Airside Sync enables the whole team to work together in one user-friendly system to streamline their daily routines and help them make assessment, compile reports and share vital information with any relevant stakeholder. Reporting modules
- RCR/SNOWTAM
Module to assess and report aerodrome conditions in full accordance with the GRF regulatory framework. Publish the different formats to chosen stakeholders and have reports filed in the archive for easy access and follow up. Assessment can be made manually or semi-automated with mobile sensor input.
- FOD
Use our existing templates or have your FOD reports custom designed to specifically fit your workflow and existing routines. Used together with the interactive map and the possibility to record media, conduct your regular controls, actions and outcome and log into our archive.
By using a digital platform for your FOD reporting, all data is published in real-time, information-sharing is instant and easy, and by having more reporting-functions in the same platform , all reports are available in the same archive, all data is accessible for correlations-analysis, reoccurring automated reports etc (see possibilities in our Analytics Module in chapter 6 – Analytics – elevate your data to information and insights)
- WLM
Use our existing templates or have your WLM reports custom designed to fit your specific needs. Either way the WLM module in Airside Sync will enable you to easily report any wildlife activity at your aerodrome and with the added function of the Analytics support module you can analyze patterns and trends to take preventive action and mitigate wildlife intrusions.
Airside Inspection Have report forms created for your specific desires on airside operations (Lighting, signage, designators, markings, surface wear etc). Make any regular and reoccurring checks easy whether it daily, weekly or any other time frame and have them archived in the same place.
- CR
Our custom forms feature lets the aerodrome operator design and specify forms for various use cases. Use this to document wildlife patrols, FOD presence, equipment malfunctions, incidents, or other processes. Forms can be attached to and sent together with an RCR as part of the runway assessment procedure or sent by themselves as part of a separate procedure. Use color-coding, text, number and date fields, dropdown selections, and photo uploads to make user-friendly forms for any occasion. - Task Management
With task management you get a simple but powerful tool to very easily create, collect, and manage all sorts of tasks at the airport.
Anyone at the airport can now be given an AS account (with task reporting credentials) and can easily issue a task when identified. A crack in the pavement, a broken light, a hole in a fence etc, simply by taking out your smartphone, starting AS, and submitting/file a task by taking a picture an optionally write a short description.When a new task is filed, anyone with the right credentials can set severity, assign the task, write a description etc.

- PIREP
In Airside Sync you also have possibility to utilize the information from your PIREPs to act as a decision support, verification of the reported condition, or as an alert to your assessed runway conditions when conflicting PIREPs from your acting SNOWTAM acc to GRF-framework. Import directly from external system or add manually to Airside Sync to alert your operations team if new assessment is prompted.
- Analytics Support
Analytics Support is the tool that gives you easy access to all the data in your Airside Sync database in order to leverage all that data to intuitive information and insights. Create dashboards with real-time data, incl history and trends, display data in diagrams, analyze data, create or set up automated reports or export any dataset in the entire database to excel work process for users.

With Airside Sync for the entire airport, we mean truly leveraging the collaborative capabilities of our platform. With unlimited number of simultaneous users, everyone with an account, can access Sync and work together to make assessments and provide information to the complied reports making sure the time needed from start of assessing to published report is minimized. Since everything is done in the same system, and updated in real time, everyone can stay informed of current aerodrome status.
To make this even easier we have also made it possible generate and send a URL-address for viewing-permits of Sync as a website, without an account, on any internet connected screen.
Designed for integration
Because we believe Airside Sync should take advantage of other systems and utilize existing data, both today and to be prepared for the possibilities tomorrow, Airside Sync was designed with integration in mind. Therefore the integration possibilities from Airside Sync’s perspective are numerous.
Airside Sync provides an open API for anyone to use (with the authorization from the account administrator of course). Airside Sync can also be connected to other systems using their corresponding APIs.
Airside Sync can also collect and utilize data that is pushed or broadcasted from other systems, or pull data from other systems. Similarly, Airside Sync can push data to other systems or allow other systems to pull data.
In a word – Airside Sync was designed with integration in mind. Integrations with other system can either be done at setup of the system but can likewise be done at a later point.
